Name of author: Roger Lancelyn Green
Genre/type of book: Medieval Adventure
This book tells of how Arthur Pendragon became the High King of Britain; from pulling the sword out of the stone to King Arthur going to sleep in a mysterious cavern beneath a hazel tree, and the quests that his Knights of the Round Table endured.
The quests were each focused around a particular knight, and made it seem that the book was made up of numerous short stories, which would make it very appealing to those who don’t have very much time to read.
Personally, I loved how each quest/tale was very much different from all the others, so you are always in for a surprise. In addition to that, I also enjoyed the character development throughout the book too.
So in conclusion, this novel is an ideal read for firstly anyone who struggles to fit reading into their hectic day-to-day routine, or simply a reader who enjoys good medieval tales.
