Review #4: Gone

It is a normal morning for the kids of Perdido Beach: waking up, throwing on some clothes that they chucked on the floor the previous night, then running down stairs for their breakfast and going to school, until disaster strikes. One normal-seeming day at school changes when during lessons, all of the teachers disappear. Suddenly sides are made, powers are gained and war looms in everyone’s minds.

Gone is an interesting read which is very dark, with many interesting and complex characters. It is a great book for a young adult/teen reader.
